How do I prepare for the event?

1. Make sure your resume is ready by getting a high score on Resume Checker and following these video interview tips.

2. Don’t forget to clean up your LinkedIn profile using this LinkedIn Guide so you can connect with the employers after the event.

3. Do your research. Before the event, research the employers attending to find out which employers suit your interests and your industry.

4. Follow up. Ensure you follow up on opportunities. If you have a conversation that goes well, write a thank-you email to the recruiter after the engagement event, just as you would for an interview. You may consider attaching your resume to the e-mail if you feel it's appropriate and make reference to the conversation you had with the individual.
